I have recently bought my one of those boxes and everything was fine with the box until screen was going pink from time to time. I found out the I need to enable Force RGB output which was meant to be under More Settings > Display. It was not there and I found that I need to update the box. I found an update that matched the version I had on my box P201 http://chinagadgetsreviews.com/download ... x-2-5.html I followed the tutorial to go into recovery and update, unfortunately it bricked my box and the screen went black. Then, I found that I need to use the Amlogic burning tool and install new image, I could not find a matching image so I used one from entertaiment box, then Hugsun: http://chinagadgetsreviews.com/download ... q-pro.html, then Eny: http://chinagadgetsreviews.com/download ... box-3.html , then few other which I cant find right now. The change of the firmware worked fine, however none of them have the option to Force RGB and my Remote does not work with any of them. I am attaching an image of my settings before any of the upgrades, could somone give me a tip which software to use to get the Force RGB and get my remote to work ? I have read that I need to edit remote file, however I cannot find any tutorial on how to do it.

Hello Everyone,

That is the one I have tried, but it does not have the force RGB output and the remote does not work.
I have found an update from June:
http://blog.geekbuying.com/index.php/20 ... -20160616/
But it does not allow me to flash it fails with:
[0x10105002]Romcode/Initialize DDR/Read initialize status/USB Control setup error
Pozdrawiam

Dan,
Firmware refers MXQ Pro+ !!! not MXQ Pro. Do you do correctly flash method? It's strange to several different firmware, you always have the same problem. Check your HDMI cable, TV set and try through another HDMI port to connect your MXQ Pro.

I am importing new image to the burning tool, then I am connecting the box with Male to Male USB cable into USB Port 4 and then using default settings I am starting the process, once it completes I disconnect it from the PC and then power it up. I have managed to get the remote partially working by modifying the remote.conf file located in System/etc/remote.conf. Most of the buttons work except the power button and multimedia buttons at the front. The problem is that I still do not have the force RGB output option in any of these software. I have already tried different HDMI cables, it works on newer TVs the screen does not go pink, it only happens on older TVs and Force RGB options is the key to it, but none of the images I have downloaded had that option. These is the remote I have used:
